We both had a lot of coffee dates in search of the right one and were tired of the word “Rishta”. Like all the other prospects we saw earlier, we agreed to meet after talking for a couple of days and our first call was 3-4 hrs long indicating a positive start. It was 13 may 2024 afternoon and suddenly, as soon as we met, warm sunshine turned into heavy rain as if the almighty was blessing our meeting. We changed venues and the rains tested our patience on the first meet. We talked rather, she talked about anything and everything from friends, to career to future plans. The conversation went on as smooth as butter and was all organic. Without realizing that we had talked for hours, time just flew for us in each other’s company.

Liking each other’s company, We met a few times more and each time we met our conversations became deeper and deeper. I noticed how he made no attempt to dominate the conversation or act overtly impressed. It was oddly grounding. And suddenly this steadiness felt like home. His calm had become her anchor. Eventually love was growing in the spaces between fights and forgiveness. Rather than a steady spark , we chose to experience slow love , allowing our connection to deepen naturally. Everything and each ritual started making sense and sky was all pink for us.

It was January 2025 when the big day the wedding took place surrounded by all the people who were part of our journey; family, friends and all near and dear ones and their presence amplifying the joy and happiness. Laughter was a constant thing throughout the wedding , creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere. Finally we exchanged vows, sharing a strong connection with each other till now- love was all in the air and it all felt like a dream. Happily ever after is no more a myth for our arranged love marriage.
Capturing Jay & Pooja’s unique love story woven into the tapestry of timeless Indian traditions was a privilege for “Krishna Shah Photography”. May their journey ahead be as blessed and beautiful as the traditions they honored.
