Back in the lively classrooms of Shabari Vidhyalaya, two very different children sat side by side one a mischievous, fearless, rowdy boy, and the other a calm, disciplined, studious girl. Their worlds couldn’t have been more different, yet destiny had quietly placed them next to each other.
As bench-mates, life carried its own sweet rhythm. He filled her days with endless school gossip, while she tried to maintain her strict, studious demeanor though his stories always managed to spark a secret smile. He frequently “borrowed” her notebooks to copy homework, and she let him, even while pretending to be annoyed. Little did they know these innocent exchanges were the first threads of a bond that would one day turn into something far greater.
Then came life’s unexpected turn. After fifth standard, their paths separated he moved to a boarding school, and she shifted to a new one. With no phones, no social media, and no way to stay in touch, their childhood connection quietly faded into memory.
For nearly twenty years, there was silence. Until one ordinary day changed everything. He sent her an Instagram request. She accepted. And the very next day, she messaged him. That simple “hello” after two decades sparked hours of conversations, rediscovered laughter, and a warmth that felt strangely familiar as if time had circled back.
