We’re so excited to capture your story! To keep things professional and clear, here is a quick look at how we handle the photos & content we create together.
Who owns the photos?
Technically, Krishna Shah Photography remains the legal owner of every image we take. Think of it like a painter and their canvas; while the painting is of you, the artistic “soul” of the work belongs to the artist. This helps us protect our brand and ensures our work isn’t edited or used by others without our knowledge.
Can you share and print them?
Absolutely! We want you to love and show off your photos. While our basic packages don’t automatically include “printing rights,” we offer a Personal Use License as an add-on.
When you opt for this (usually delivered via USB or a Cloud link), you get the freedom to:
- Post them on your Social Media.
- Print high-quality copies for your home.
- Email or Share link of them to your family and friends.
Just a heads-up: These are for your personal joy only, not for selling or business use.
A favor for our portfolio
To show future clients what we can do, we occasionally use the photos we’ve taken for our website, social media, or professional awards. It’s how we grew our business to where it is today! If you have a specific reason for keeping your event private, just let us know in advance.
Dealing with other vendors
If your makeup artist, decorator, or venue asks you for the photos to use in their advertising, please point them our way by contacting us! We’re usually happy to help, but we need to give them a separate professional permission to ensure we are credited correctly.
