Some love stories start with a spark, but ours began with something even sweeter—an ice cream date and a three-hour walk through the charming streets of Breda, Netherlands. What seemed like a simple evening soon became the start of a lifetime together. Bonding over our shared love for Indian food, Bollywood, and the deep importance we place on family and friends, our connection felt effortless—like we had known each other forever.
Over the next couple years of brewing coffee, mixing cocktails, long workdays, board game nights, and sharing both the highs and lows of life, we knew this was something special. Then came the big question—OMG, should we tell our parents? With nervous excitement, we took the leap.
Our wedding was everything we dreamed of three magical days surrounded by the love of our closest family and friends. As we celebrated, danced, and soaked in every moment, we truly felt the power of love; ours and the love that surrounded us. Even the adventure of wedding prep (a true test for two people who don’t love shopping!) became part of our journey, making the celebration even more meaningful.
On our wedding day, Yesha wore a stunning orange lehenga, a heartfelt tribute to the Netherlands, where our love story began, while Anshul looked effortlessly elegant in an ivory sherwani. For the engagement, Yesha’s princess-style dress, chosen after much searching, perfectly complemented Anshul’s beautifully tailored outfit. Every detail reflected our journey, making these moments even more special.
Since the moment we met, life has been a whirlwind of travel, laughter, finding new favorite shows to watch from the comfort of our couch, and discovering the perfect GIF or meme for every conversation. And now, as we step into this new chapter, we do so with full hearts, knowing that the best is yet to come.
